Mahjong Mini Tournament: A Little Play, a Lot of Good

Short on time, big on mahjong? Join us on January 29, from 6–9 p.m., for a shorter, four-round tournament packed with friendly competition and community spirit. It’s an evening-sized helping of tournament fun—with plenty of chances to shout “Mahjong!” Proceeds will support local organizations, including high school baseball and softball teams, as well as other charitable organizations selected throughout the 2027 year. Every seat at the table helps us give back! We’ll play three rounds—12 hands total—following common NMJL tournament rules. Each round is 55 minutes, and light snacks will be provided to keep you fueled for the fun. Bring your game face: Meet At Mahj gift cards await our first-, second-, and third-place winners! Optional raffles will offer even more chances to take home something special. Want to keep the tiles rolling? Register for both this evening event and the full-day Play for a Purpose tournament, and use code BOTH10 for a discount on the evening event. The discount is valid only when registering for both tournaments. Registrations using the code without signing up for both will be canceled. Double the events, double the fun! Reserve your seat before prices increase on November 15! Gather your mahjong friends and join us for a little play that does a lot of good. Additional information will be sent after registration.
